Welcome to the Waterford District Cricket Club Website.

During the '80s Waterford boasted around twenty Mid Week League teams and representitave teams in the Munster League and Cup.

Our Club is a combination of players who maintained a playing interest in the sport from that period and some newer players.We hope to develop a youth section aimed toward establishing the game in Waterford once again.

We are former MCU Div III winners 2010 and have competed in the MCU ,Junior Cup and Minor Cup for the 2010/11 seasons.

The absence of a suitable playing pitch in Waterford has meant all fixtures being played away over the past ten years. Waterford Institute of Technology have kindly allowed us use their facilities in Carriganore since August 2009.

We have been allowed use this facility as our home ground for the past two seasons and without this gesture could not realistically compete.

Waterford City Council have licenced us to use part of the Williamstown Golf Club facility. We are currently in the process of establishing nets there.

Due to our current limited resources we are not in a position to recruit new players just yet.
